In NSW there are some 50,000 serious collisions on the road each year where at least one person was killed or injured.
The sad reality is that while P-Platers only represent 16% of NSW licence holders, they account for 36% of road trauma.
It is also a reality that the Central Coast has one of the worst accident records involving young drivers in the State.
We know that all trained educators have a passion and indeed a duty, to equip students with the best possible road safety education.
At RYDA we share that passion and are anxious to expand our partnership with Central Coast high schools to help arrest and ultimately reduce these alarming accident statistics.
This can only be done through education.
While we can't teach driving skills at RYDA, we do teach awareness, knowledge and road behaviours that are essential pre-requisites to practical on-road training.
