The Central Coast Sun Weekly has launched an important campaign aimed at encouraging local young people to address road safety issues in a positive and innovative way.
Central Coast Rotary Clubs, NRMA Safer Driving Schools and The Sun Weekly are partners in the initiative.
And the cornerstone of the campaign is the Rotary Youth Driver Awareness (RYDA) Central Coast road safety program.
RYDA Central Coast is aimed at Year 11 students, and it is coming to the Coast for three weeks from July 17th 2007.
RYDA aims to encourage budding young drivers to take a more aware and responsible attitude to motoring.
The aim of The Sun Weekly campaign is to encourage every local year 11 student to attend RYDA, and in doing so make a substantial contribution to boosting road safety, and to lowering the accident rate for young Central Coast drivers.
